“Specialist” / “Board Certified”
Attorneys may not advertise themselves as a “specialist” in a particular field of law unless they are certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in that field. Where a profile indicates board certification, that certification is sourced from the attorney’s claim and is the attorney’s responsibility to substantiate. Members of the public can verify any TBLS certification at tbls.org.
