A directory of attorneys, not advertisements
Most legal directories sell placement first and sort out accuracy later. We work in the opposite order. The directory is seeded from public State Bar of Texas records, organized by the cities and practice areas Texans search for most, and enriched as attorneys claim and verify their own profiles. What you see on a profile — licensure, practice areas, office location, client reviews — reflects a real, individual attorney, not a marketing composite.
How profiles are sourced
The base directory is drawn from publicly available Texas attorney records. From there, attorneys can claim their profile, submit credentials, and — once verified by our team — manage their listing directly: their bio, photo, practice areas, and contact details. Pro Spotlight subscribers receive featured placement and a dedicated badge, and those placements are always labeled for what they are.
Our verification standards
- Attorneys can claim and manage a profile only after credential verification.
- Every client review is moderated by a human before it appears — no drive-by ratings.
- A “Board Certified” badge means the certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization was verified by our admins, never scraped from a website.
- The directory complies with the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct on attorney advertising, including Rule 7.04.
